In this month’s spotlight, we get the privilege to interview a locally-owned restaurant! Sam Gelardi is the proud co-owner of Pub 1922 and George Bass is their General Manager here in Sahuarita. Pub 1922 is a vintage-inspired restaurant hangout in the Fry’s shopping center offering gastropub grub, craft beer, and cocktails. It’s actually a sister company of the famous Si Charro chain of Southern Arizona. Sam and George have been a part of the Si Charro family for many years and are proud to maintain the 100-year history of the brand here in Sahuarita. They are a very innovative restaurant continually updating their food options and offering happy hour schedules. They have become a staple in the community by continually listening to their customers and adapting to the ever-changing restaurant industry.
