In this month’s spotlight, we get the privilege to interview a locally-owned nonprofit business! This is Jennifer Contreras. Based in Southern Arizona, she operates her own nonprofit business also known as Caysen’s Crew; a business whose mission is to help families of children with complex medical needs!
Jennifer and her husband Eric started this nonprofit with their son Caysen in mind! Born with complex medical needs, Caysen has proven to be one influential mascot in their family and business. He helps push and motivate Jennifer and Eric to help other families who are in the position that they found themselves in about 2 years ago. What they love most is helping other families. When they went through the stresses of the discovery phase for Caysen’s needs, they were overwhelmed by how many strangers in the community came by their side to help them. This love and support encouraged them so much that they felt the need to give back!
