The number of houses you view will depend on several factors, including the local real estate market, the type of property you are looking for, your budget, and your personal preferences. Some people find the perfect property after viewing just a few homes, while others may have to view several properties before finding the perfect home. Ultimately, it is important to take the time to find a property that fits your needs and meets your budget. In my personal experience as a Real Estate Broker, I have never had someone who looked at more than 10-15 houses max. By that time, most people will know what they’re looking for, and if it takes looking at any more homes than that, most likely no home would fit their criteria. When viewing properties, it is important to be clear about your priorities and preferences. Make a list of “must-haves” and “nice-to-haves” to help narrow down your search. Consider working with a real estate agent who can not only help you in your search, but can also assist you with your due diligence. This may include researching the local real estate market, getting a home inspection, and reviewing the property’s title and legal history. Ultimately, the goal is to find a property that you feel confident and excited about purchasing, whether it takes viewing a few or many homes to get there.
