Clean, quiet, and scenic, Green Valley is a retirement community that moves at a much slower pace than neighboring cities. This creates somewhat of a small-town feel that allows its residents to enjoy life and escape the hustle and bustle of urban life. Green Valley is in the heart of Southern Arizona and you get access to the Sonoran Desert all year long. Outdoor living is a huge part of life when living here. Hiking, cycling, golfing, bird watching, and pickleball are just some of the main active attractions. How much does it cost to live in Green Valley? The average price of a single-family home in Green Valley in the year 2022 is $387,000. Take note that the price only includes single-family homes and doesn’t take into account townhomes, condos, or manufactured homes which would lower that average. The few cons we have seen when it comes to the Green Valley area is typically a complaint from young people that it isn’t enough for them to do. So if you’re a young person and you like the hustle and bustle of a big city, a retirement community is probably not for you.
